Cricks team spreads Christmas cheer

Cricks 12 Lives wanted to spread some Christmas kindness to families going through a difficult time. We got in touch with some local refugees, who were housing many women and children over Christmas. These were incredibly vulnerable families. Some had been living in extreme deprivation…others had been subjected to violence and abuse. They had very little, and Christmas was going to be a particularly difficult time for them.

We asked the Cricks team to help us make Christmas a bit more special for these families - and the response was overwhelming. Staff from the Sunshine Coast, Tweed Heads and Brisbane bought dozens of gifts and gave so many women and children a much happier Christmas.

A big thankyou to Chelsea, Casey, Cheryl, Bronte and Anita from VW MDR, Maire from Noosa, Amelia, Amie and Mick from MBSC, Patrice, Anthony, Larissa and Luci from Sugar Road, Gina from Springwood and the team at Mt Gravatt. Kristie Price and all the team at Tweed.

You all donated so many beautiful gifts but, more importantly, you showed them that there are people out there who care about them.
