This Christmas, staff all over the country selflessly donated their time and money to help people in their local community who were facing a Christmas with very little money to buy gifts or even food.
We are so proud to showcase some of the kind acts that took place in the Autopact dealerships in the lead-up to Christmas...
DC Motors Rockhampton
Donated food and gifts to local families in need via The Women's Health Centre Rockhampton.
Daimler Trucks on the Sunshine Coast
Donated gifts to women and children spending Christmas in a local refuge, making sure every single one was given a gift this Christmas.
Clancy Automotive in Dubbo
Filled 15 hampers for St Vincent De Paul to help families struggling to buy food.
Gateway Motors in Wollongong
Donated gifts to every single women and child at a local women's refuge, SAHSSI (Supported Accommodation and Homelessness Services Shoalhaven Illawarra). The refuge supports vulnerable women and families in the local area.
Cricks Mt Gravatt
Collected dozens of toys and books for the Smith Family Appeal.
Raised $1000 to buy gifts for a family they adopted via St Vincent De Paul. The charity dropped a card off to the family letting them know there was a package to collect from Vinnies, and they didn't know who it was from...what an amazing Christmas surprise! The family they helped consisted of a single dad with a 7 year old Daughter and 2 sons, aged 5 and 3.
Cricks Maroochydore, Nambour and Noosa
Supported the Compass Institute, providing help for people with intellectual and physical disabilities.
Supported the Coast2Bay Housing Group, which helps families throughout the region.
Thank you so much to the staff who helped co-ordinate this, and to everyone who helped to make Christmas little bit happier for people in our communities going through tough times.
