The team at DC Motors Rockhampton wanted to help a local boy called Jayce. When Jayce was born, he suffered a brain injury due to lack of oxygen and blood supply. They watched their little boy struggle for four months, before being given the news that he had quadriplegic cerebral palsy and cortical vision impairment. Jayce is now two years old. He has seizures, needs a feeding tube, and he is not yet able to roll, sit, crawl, walk, talk or use his hands independently.
Jayce and his family have all been through a lot, and our staff wanted to help make their life a little bit easier. Thanks to the team's generosity, DC Motors was able to donate fuel cards to help with travel costs, gift cards to help with this living costs, as all as vouchers for ToyWorld for Jayce and his siblings.
Thanks so much to Carissa and Emma, and to all the staff who helped make this happen. It has made a big difference to Jayce and his family.
